All patrons and visiter must adhere to the following rules
Please register and settle your account on arrival – Speed limit at walking pace
- Office Hours – are seasonal and will be displayed on the office door.
- Camp Sites – will generally be available to occupy from 1pm with strictly 10am departure. A Site constitutes 1 tent, 1 car, 2 persons – additional charges will apply under your tariff for extra persons, tents etc. Maximum number of persons per site is 6.
- Caravans/Camper Trailers – All drawbars must face the road in case of emergency evacuation.
- All Vehicles/Caravans/Camper Trailers – Occupying Riversites must not be left unattended overnight.
- On Site Accommodation – will generally be available from 2pm on day of arrival with a strictly 10am departure on your last day. Please leave your cabin clean and tidy to avoid additional cleaning charges. You are responsible for breakages or damages caused by your party or your visitors. All cabin bookings require a security bond payable by either cash or credit card. One car per cabin/site.
- Generators – are not permitted in the park
- Pets – are not permitted in the park.
- Bicycles – helmets should be worn whilst riding bikes in the park. Bikes must not be ridden after dark.
- Playground – is for the use of children under 12 years of age and in daylight hours only.
- Cancellations or Early Departures – please book carefully. If you change your mind after arrival – no refund. Please see our cancellation policy for further information.
- Fires – are ONLY allowed in the fire bins provided (in accordance with CFA regulations), at Managers’ discretion and not on days of total fire ban. A hire fee applies. Please do not place litter, glass or rubbish into the fire bins. No
treated, painted or timber with metal fixtures/nails permitted. Please see our Campfire Policy. All caravans should be equipped with fire extinguishers and tents must have at least 10 lites of water available in a bucket at all times. Bagged wood is available for sale from the kiosk during normal office hours. Fires must be completely extinguished by 10pm or when retiring. - BBQ Hot Plates – designed to fit over your fire bin, these are available to hire for a small fee. A cash security deposit is required which is refundable on return of your CLEANED BBQ plate.
- Showers – water is a scarce commodity at Cumberland River, and we have generator driven power to pump the water. Please use water wisely and limit the time of your shower to the metered 5 minutes.
- Messages – will not be delivered. They will be placed on the Black board outside the office for your attention
- Visitors – must register at the office on arrival as payment of additional fees is required. Visitor cars must be left outside in the car park. One car only per site/cabin.
- Laundry – both washing machine and dryer are available. The washing machine takes 4 × $1 coins and 30 minutes per cycle and the dryer takes 1x $1 per 10 minutes. Laundry powder and change are available from our office
during normal office hours. Clothes lines are also provided – homemade lines between trees and tents are not permitted and will be removed by management without prior warning. - Behaviour – we ask that you respect your fellow residents’ rights to peaceful enjoyment of the park. Music and noise should be kept to a minimum and cease at 10pm. Drunkenness, offensive behavior and rowdy parties will not be tolerated. You are responsible for those in your company. Management has the right to terminate occupancy for any rule breach or undesirable conduct.
- Rubbish – should be wrapped and placed in the bins provided at the refuse station. Please keep your site clean and tidy. Please empty bins in cabins and dispose of at refuse station on departure.
- Kiosk – milk, bread, papers (seasonal), ice, drinks, ice cream, LPG refills (provided your bottle has passed a safety check in the last 10 years), bags of wood, a small range of grocery and miscellaneous items are available during normal office hours.
- Responsibility – all persons enter the park at their own risk and are totally responsible for their own property and motor vehicles
